| Garden Club |
Members get together once a month ( the third Sunday each month) to socialize and discuss gardening issues. Meetings include a potluck or barbeque, and always lots of good company. One of the highlights of the meeting is the plant raffle, where everyone gets a raffle ticket for each plant they bring. And additional raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. It's a great way to increase members plant collection without spending retail prices.
Occasionally we have various guest experts who give informative talks on a desired topic (such as how to grow and care for palm trees, exotics, or how to grow an edible garden). Also have guests from local garden shops who might also bring plants to raffle and explain their business and expertise in the horticultural field.
For info on where each meeting will be taking place, please contact Del Claude. Contact: Del Claude 407-291-3551 |
